Why We Rescue Unwanted Honeybees?

Because Bees Matter!

As beekeepers, we believe that rescuing unwanted honeybees is important for several reasons. Firstly, honeybees are crucial pollinators that play a vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. By rescuing unwanted honeybees, we are helping to ensure that these important pollinators continue to thrive.  Secondly, honeybees are under threat from various environmental factors such as habitat loss and pesticide use. By rescuing unwanted honeybees, we are contributing to the conservation and preservation of these important insects. Finally, rescuing unwanted honeybees can also provide an opportunity to educate and raise awareness about the importance of bees and the role they play in our environment.

All pollinators are vital for the health of our planet and for all life on Earth.  Besides being part of the vital pollinator family, honeybees provide some sweet little extras that are beneficial to us and we also enjoy.  Honey for one and a host of other bee products, treatments medicine, not to mention honeybees are therapeutic.  Ask a beekeeper how calming it is to work with bees.

We have to protect our pollinators and remember the saying, "For every bite, we eat 1/3 of our food is attributed to pollinators so WHEN THEY THRIVE, WE THRIVE!

Why Contact a Beekeeper?

Trying to remove a honeybee colony on your own can be a difficult process and require some skills and this is where we come in.  With concern for our pollinators at heart, we aim to rescue honeybees before they are exterminated by safely and professionally removing them from your location.

This is what you should know:

Bee Identity

We only remove honeybees so it helps to be able to identify honeybees from other bees or insects.  Yellow Jackets, wasp, and hornets are not bees.   There are many species of bees and insects that are mistaken for honeybees.  These are some common ones to identify before contacting a beekeeper for honeybee removal.
